Why I Love Urban Planning

When I was 5 or 6 years old,  I loved making 'cities': buildings made of used cardboard boxes and used Johnson's baby powder bottles, skyscrapers made of coke bottles, Matchbox for cars and some lego pieces  to go with.

Back in college, I seemed to have a penchant for aerial perspective drawings.

During trips, I like sitting at the window seat of the plane to gawk at the aerial view outside.

When I travel, I love to walk around the city, its corners, streets and buildings.

And often wondered how it would be like to plan them.

And now I do.  I really do love urban planning.  And I do love what I do.
